Designed for the Desert, Not Against It
Most landscape-lighting advice online is written for lawns and maples. Vegas yards are different, and better:
Xeriscape is a lighting gift. Rock beds, agaves, ocotillos, and palms create texture and shadow that flat lawns can't. A handful of well-aimed uplights does more here than twenty fixtures do back east.
Heat kills cheap fixtures. Plastic housings and bargain LED drivers fail fast at 110°+. We install solid brass and powder-coated aluminum fixtures with quality drivers — the difference between a system that lasts 15 years and one that dies by August.
Stucco loves light. Wall-washing pale stucco and stone at 2700K (warm white) gives the whole property a resort glow — the same technique Strip properties and high-end Summerlin builds use.
No lawn to dig up. Low-voltage wire tucks under gravel invisibly. Most installs take one or two days and leave no trace but the light.
